Thomas M. Sullivan

Licensed Funeral Director / Owner

Tom Sullivan was born and raised in Shenandoah, the son of the late Michael J. and Mary " Corrigan " Sullivan. His father owned and operated the Michael J. Sullivan Funeral Home on N. Jardin Street, Shenandoah, until his death in 1979. Tom attended Shenandoah Catholic High School, Allentown College of St. Francis DeSales, now DeSales University, and McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science in New York City. He served his internship at the Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem, where he remained on staff for four years until purchasing the funeral home at 501 Washington Street, Frackville, from the late Robert F. Hoppes in 1976. An Army veteran, he served in Vietnam from December 1967 until February 1969. He has been married to the former Ellen "Simodejka" of Minersville since 1971; the couple has five children and five grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. He is a member of numerous fraternal and civic organizations in Frackville and Schuylkill County. We are very proud to have served the families of Frackville and all of Schuylkill County, with sympathy and professionalism, for the past 44 years.

Timothy M. Sullivan

Licensed Funeral Director/Supervisor

Tim was born and raised in Frackville. He is a 2004 graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School. He was awarded Cardinal Brennan's male scholar athlete for football and basketball, and graduated with honors. After high school, he attended Wilkes University, studying business administration, until his graduation in 2008. While at Wilkes, Tim was involved in many clubs and organizations and also played football. After graduation, Tim attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science until his graduation in 2009. Tim graduated with honors and also received the Mu Sigma Alpha award for outstanding academic proficiency in the field of mortuary science. In 2014, Tim married the former Brandy Derr of Ashland. They had their first son, Declan, in 2015 and their daughter Rylee in 2017. Tim is currently a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Frackville, a member of the Knights of Columbus (Frackville), and a member of Friendship Fire Co. in Englewood.
