History of Frackville Funeral Home

The existing funeral home was originally established by Robert F. Hoppes in 1947 and served the community until 1976.

Thomas M. Sullivan purchased the funeral home and business in 1976 and has dedicated himself to serving the families of Frackville and the surrounding communities of Northern Schuylkill County with compassionate, professional service for the past 40 years.

History of Girardville Funeral Home

The McDonald Family has served the families of Girardville for over 100 years. Robert, William, and William Jr. McDonald have operated the funeral home for the last 50 years. While running the business, the McDonald family has helped hundreds of families take care of their loved ones, building personal relationships with each and every one of their families. During this time, Tom Sullivan and Bobby McDonald created a friendship and professional relationship that led to the purchase of the McDonald Funeral Home in August of 2013.

The funeral home will now run under the name of the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, with Timothy M. Sullivan being the Supervisor.

We hope that we can build on the relationships that the McDonald family has created and create friendships with the families of Girardville and the surrounding areas.
