William J. Pelko

William J. "Will" Pelko , 87, Frackville passed away peacefully Friday at Pottsville Rehab/ Nursing Center.

Born in Frackville he was a son of the late Joseph and Caroline Castanzo Pelko. He had been employed as an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville.

Will,  AKA Demetrius, had a passion for writing essay's and was a lifelong student of the bible. He had taught Latin and Ballroom dancing for Arthur Murray studios in the Allentown area.

He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Cuttic Pelko in 2021, a brother Joseph Pelko in 2009 and a sister Marie Haas in 2017.

He and Teresa had three children Joseph Pelko, Frackville, Michael Pelko, Allentown and his daughter and his pride and Joy, Christine Pelko, Allentown also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito officiating.
