, 317 N. Center Street, Frackville, died early Sunday morning at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late Michael and Eva " Machita " Sedar. He had been a factory worker at Pottsville Mills for several years and later for Mark's Manufacturing until his retirement.
He was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville.
He was preceded in death by his wife the former Violet V. Flickinger in 1977, a son Leonard J. and four sisters; Mary Frudge, Kay Sedar, Helen Palmer and Eva Kobilnyk.
He is survived by his daughter Mary Ann Haluska, Pottsville, four brothers Adam Sedar, Ashland, Michael Sedar, Tamaqua, John Sedar, Frackville and Paul Sedar, Pottsville, a sister Ann Sedar, Frackville, three grand-daughters; Pamela, Tonya and Lori, a great- grandson Andy, several nieces and nephews.
Burial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville, with Very Rev. James Jadick, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
