Virginia U. Lloyd

Virginia U. " Ginny " Lloyd , 82, Frackville, died peacefully early Monday morning at Broad Mountain Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Kathryn Subach. She had been employed as a telephone operator for the former Bell Telephone Company until their closing and later worked for Bon Ton in the Schuylkill Mall.

She was a member of Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Frackville, where she served as a lector.

She was preceded in death, on Friday, by her husband of 61 years James T. Lloyd and two brothers and two sisters; Eleanore, Violet, John and Albert " Sonny".

Ginny is survived by her son James T. Lloyd Jr., Herndon, Va. , her daughter Karen Anne Lloyd, Middletown, her six grandchildren; Taylor, Cole and Dane Lloyd, Kathryn Dixon, Heather and Vincent Dangolovich, her great-grandchildren; Jack and Paul Dixon, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial for Jim and Ginny will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. with scripture service at 8 p.m.
