Suzanne C. (Welna) Rovito

Suzanne C. Rovito RN , 74, Englewood, Frackville passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30 ^th at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Gustav and Lila McAndrew Welna.

She was a graduate of the former Immaculate Heart High School. She then became a LPN before graduating from the Pottsville School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She was employed for the former Pottsville Hospital and also worked at the SCI Mahanoy and SCI Frackville Prisons for 15 years until her retirement.

She had a love for animals and enjoyed playing the lottery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters: Elaine Welna, Karen Welna and Peggy Huss.

Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James J. Rovito; her sister, Cynthia Welna; her sister-in-law, Lois Dormer; a niece and three nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 6 ^th at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St. Ann's Church) with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends and family are invited to her visitation at the church on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will follow mass at Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Suzanne's name, to the Hillside SPCA at PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901.
