Steven M. Dura
Steven M. Dura, 58, 129 N. Railroad Ave., Frackville, died Tuesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center, S. Jackson Street, Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah he is the son of Stephen and Claire " Kacelowicz " Dura of Frackville. He had been employed as a service technician for Verizon until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.
Steve was a Navy veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He is survived, in addition to his parents, by three sons; Michael and Mark Dura, both of Frackville, Matthew Dura, Miami, Fl, two sisters; Darlene Murphy, Harrisburg and Sharon and her husband Brenton Hake, York, a grand-daughter Hailey Dura, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Michael Beers, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be private. There will be no public viewing.
