Steven M. Boehmer

Steven M. Boehmer , 53, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center East, Pottsville.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James F. and Florence M. (Mills) Boehmer. He worked in the maintenance department for the Simmons Bedding Co., Hazleton.

Steven was preceded in death by two sisters: Dianne Brownlee and Lynne Boehmer.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Lori Purcell Boehmer; one son, Steven Boehmer Jr. and one daughter Felicia Boehmer, all of Shenandoah. Also survived by three brothers: James and his wife Carol Boehmer, Tennessee, Robert and his wife Eileen Boehmer, Philadelphia, Richard and his wife Donna Boehmer of Mount Carmel; two grandchildren: Aaliyah and Noah; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev Jonathan Hall. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
