Stephen Basheda

Stephen ( Beseta ) Basheda , Englewood, Frackville, died Monday morning at his residence.

Born in Gilberton he was a son of the late Steve and Mary Basheda. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and was a self-employed electrician until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.

Steve is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Marion T. Upanavage, his son Dr. Stephen and his wife Lynn Basheda, Pittsburgh, his daughter, Dr. Lisa and her husband William Kanehann, Philadelphia, also by eight grandchildren, a brother Frank Basheda, Pittsburgh and a sister Mary Basheda, Gilberton.

Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing. The family prefers contributions, in Stephen's name, be made to the charity of your choice.
