In Loving Memory of Shirley Mae Sippie.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Mae Sippie, who passed away peacefully on July 5th, 2026 at the age of 85.
Born on October 22nd, 1941, she had this strength and resilience that was admired by her children. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, sense of humor, compassion and loyalty. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family.
She was the devoted wife of John G. Sippie, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and cherished memories.
She was a loving mother to:
• Jack Sippie
• Maureen Davis
• Lori Sippie
• Danielle Sippie
• Kym Lipshaw
• Jennifer Sippie
She was also a proud and loving grandmother to:
• Jacqueline Sippie
• Billy Lipshaw
• Jordan Lipshaw
• Aidan Lipshaw
• Aliyah Lipshaw
• Grayson Lipshaw
She is survived by:
• Her children: Lori, Danielle & her fiance Chris Kankowski, Kym and her partner Josh Balsavage & Jennifer and her partner Andre Seritti.
• Her grandchildren: Jacqueline and her partner Joey Van Horn, Billy, Jordan, Aidan, Aliyah & Grayson.
• Her great-grandchildren: Evan John Sippie-Hubler.
• Her son-in-law: John Davis.
• As well as extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by:
• Husband, John.
• Son, Jack.
• Daughter, Maureen.
Shirley found joy in caregiving, watching 'spookers', shopping trips with her children and cooking. Her greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, resilience, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the memories we shared and in knowing that her love will remain with us always.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 11 a.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington Street, Frackville. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life at her visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at St. Casimir's Catholic Cemetery, Mahanoy City.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
