Shannon J. Willis

Shannon J. Willis , 39, Girardville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning at her residence after a long struggle with addiction.

Born at the former Ashland Hospital she was a daughter of Christine E. Trynosky Willis , Girardville and the late Edward W. Willis.

She was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her brother Dave and his wife Jeanne Willis and her sister Carrie wife of Jason Simmons, her nieces and nephews; David J. Willis, Kyra Simmons, William "Bear " Simmons and Abbey Willis all of Girardville also by aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday August 24th from 5 until 7 p.m. with funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville.
