Russell Lloyd Brobst III

Russell L. Brobst III , 44, Frackville passed away tragically on Sunday, April 30th as a result of an automobile accident.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Russell L. Brobst Jr. and his wife Diane Compinski Brobst, Frackville. He was employed as a HVAC technician with Ingersoll Rand.

Russ was a 1997 graduate of North Schuylkill High School, where he was also inducted into the football hall of fame in 2002. He went on to Wilkes University, where he continued his education and football career. He also helped coached football at Cardinal Brennan and North Schuylkill.

Russ was a family oriented guy and was always there to help any family or friends in need. His son, Brantley was his world and enjoyed playing and working together.

Russ was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Russell L. Brobst Sr. and Joyce Brobst; his maternal grandparents, Albert and Eleanor Compinski; his uncles: Charles Long, Ronald and Paul Compinski.

In addition to his parents Russell and Diane, he is survived by his son Brantley Brobst; his sisters: Amanda Brobst, Frackville; Megan and her husband Thomas Ward, Barnesville and their son Thomas Ward IV; his companion Jessica Ludwig and her children Hunter and Nhysia, whom Russ considered his own; several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 6 ^th at 1 pm at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito officiating. Friends are invited to his visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 am until the time of service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Russ's memory, to his children in care of Megan Ward at 19 Beech Lane Barnesville, PA 18214.
