Rose Kolos
Rose Kolos , 95, Frackville, passed away peacefully Saturday evening while under hospice care.
Born in Frackville, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Damiter Wilinsky. She worked as a seamstress for the former Charles Rabin Factory, Frackville until her retirement.
Rose was an active member of St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church, Frackville where she helped with the making of pierogies and easter eggs. She was a member of the Frackville Senior Citizens and enjoyed bowling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John M. Kolos; her son John S. Kolos; her sisters: Eva Homa and Mildred Panikarchuck; her brothers: Michael, John, George and Walter Wilinsky.
Rose is survived by her two granddaughters, Kathleen and Ellen Kolos; a great- granddaughter Emerson Rose and several nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday October 7 th from St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church, Frackville with Rev. Robert Plichta as the celebrant. Friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment will take place in St. John's Cemetery, Frackville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made, in Rose's name, to St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church at 414 W. Oak Street Frackville, PA 17931.
