Rose Giba

Rose Giba , 94, a guest at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville, died Saturday night at St. Catherine Medical Center, Fountain Springs.

Born in Freeland she was a daughter of the late Peter and Rose Anna Heloskie.

She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas M. Giba in 2009.

She is survived by her son William and his wife Claire Giba, two grandsons: Robert and his wife Elke Giba and David Giba, all of Plano Texas, a brother-in-law Michael Giba, Reading

Panakhyda services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Burial service will be at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church Frackville, with Very Rev. Archpriest John Fields as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
