Robert J. Gregis

Robert J. Gregis , 67, York, formerly of Girardville, passed away on Tuesday evening at his residence.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late John V. and Anna Pidgeon Gregis. Bob was a self-employed advertising consultant for his company, Gregis Advertising in York.

Bob was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church, Girardville. He was a 1968 graduate of North Schuylkill High School and received his Bachelor's degree in marketing from York College.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Francis Gregis in 2000.

He is survived by his brother John P. Gregis, Girardville; a sister, Dorothy Cress, Shamokin; two sons: Jonathan Gregis, London, and Brendon Gregis of Glen Rock; his daughter, Morgan Gregis, Glen Rock and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Vincent dePaul Church, Girardville with Rev. Paul Rothermel, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery in Frackville.
