Rachel M. Adams-Stang 

 Rachel M. Adams-Stang  , 38, of Frackville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 11th, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Danville, she was the daughter of Norman Walls and Mary (Adams) Garraway. Rachel was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, where she discovered her passion for the arts. She loved to draw and paint, and her creativity was a defining part of who she was.

Above all, Rachel loved her children—nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them. She was also a wonderful friend whose kindness and loyalty touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Wayne Garraway, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Rachel is survived by her mother, Mary Garraway of Frackville, and her father, Norman Walls; her two sons: Gregory Laurusevage and Matthew Matern; her brother, James Garraway; and her step-sister, Rachel Garraway.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 15th at the  Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home  , 501 West Washington Street, Frackville with Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Ringtown.
