Peter R. Wysochansky Sr.

Peter R. Wysochansky Sr. , 64, loving father and husband and well known Frackville resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Jerry and Alma Dempsey Wysochansky. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville.

Pete wore many hats in his life and worked in several different professions from a police officer to a cook.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Wysochansky and his sister Donna Murray.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mary Ellen Curry Wysochansky, Frackville; his two sons: Frank Curry, Pine Grove and his companion Rachel Mermon and Peter Wysochansky, Frackville and his companion Ranotta Ahrensfield; his two daughters: Katrina and Miranda Wysochansky, both of Frackville; his two brothers: Ronald and his wife Kathy Wysochansky, Denmar Gardens and Joseph Wysochansky, Mount Carmel; his two sisters: Pat Hixson, Mount Carmel and Mary Ann and her husband John Gough of Denmar Gardens; his two grandchildren, Paige and Remmington; his brother-in-law, Patrick Murray, Denmar Gardens; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev. Brian Miller officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help cover final expenses would be greatly appreciated
