Paul T. "ACE" Anthony passed away peacefully, at the age of 94 at his residence in Nesquehoning, PA
Born in Frackville, he was a son to Joseph and Mary (Gastin) Anthony. He was a graduate of Frackville High School. He served in the US Army and was stationed for a time in Germany during the Korean War.
Paul went on to partner with his two brothers to start and own a catering service (Ace Banquet Hall) and supermarket (Anthony's Supermarket)
He was an honorary life member of the Frackville Elks lodge #1533, American Legion Post 398 and the Knights of Columbus. Paul was instrumental in raising funds to build a new Frackville pool as well as other community projects.
Paul enjoyed sports and his time at his lake house, boating and fishing where everyone was welcome and great memories will live on for all who visited or attended one of his famous lakefront bashes. He loved all Philadelphia sports teams and spent his last several years watching and rooting on his beloved Eagles and Phillies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Loving wife, Helen and two brothers Arthur and Joseph Anthony. Paul is survived by his brothers Mike, Lou and his sister Helen Ferris.
Paul is also survived by his four daughters: Paula Jibrine and her husband Jack of Marlton NJ; Ann Marie Howard and son in law Dave Howard, Frackville; Georgene Anthony, Frackville; and Mary Ann Tonrey and her husband James, Mechanicsburg PA along with eight grandchildren: Kimberly Maiorano and husband Lou; David Howard and wife Jess; Paul Comishock and wife Lindsey, Gregory Comishock, Amira Jibrine, Nicole Jibrine, Angela Tonrey and Jess Tonrey as well as four great grandchildren: Emma Gaul, Hanna Maiorano; Ellie Comishock and Charlotte Comishock; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday August 6, 2023, from 4 PM - 7:30 PM at St Joseph the Worker (St Anne's) Church, 49 N. Line Street, Frackville PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Joseph the Worker (St Anne's) church, 49 N. Line Street, Frackville PA. on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Burial to immediately follow the mass.
