Patricia A. Payne

Patricia A. Payne , 79, Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg.

Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Post Mahoney. She was last employed as a bookkeeper for Antz Energy before her retirement.

Patricia was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, the Catholic Daughters and was a CYO officer for many years in Shenandoah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald A. Payne in 1981 and a sister Janette Mahoney Glenn.

She is survived by her three loving children, her son Jeff and his wife Tammy Payne, Alabama; her daughters: Adrienne Payne, Tamaqua and her partner Jim Heffner; Susan Payne, Frackville and her husband Ed Winebrenner; her sister, Annette Sacco, Shenandoah; her two brothers: John Mahoney, Bucks County and Jerome Mahoney, Tamaqua; her three grandchildren whom she adored and was referred to as "Nana," Jeffrey, Meghan and Quinn; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday evening at 7:45 pm at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev. Brian Miller officiating.  Friends are invited to her viewing from 6 pm until the time of service. Interment will be held on Monday at Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, PA. Guests are asked to wear face coverings and follow CDC guidelines during services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made, in Patricia's name, to the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence at 1701 Linglestown Road Harrisburg, PA 17110.
