Nicholas M. Giba, 93, of Frackville, died Thursday at St. Catherine Medical Center, Fountain Springs.

Born in Frackville he was a son of the late Andrew and Nancy Giba. He had been employed as a mirror technician for Metropolitan Mirror and Glass, formerly of Frackville.

He was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Frackville.

He is survived by his wife Rose "Heloskie" Giba, his son William and his wife Claire E. Giba, Plano Tx., a brother ,Michael Giba, Reading, two grandsons; Robert and David Giba.

Panachida service will be held at 9:30 on Wednesday at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Requiem Liturgy will be at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Frackville, with Archpriest John Fields, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
