Nancy Jo Doraski
Nancy Jo Doraski , 78, Ashland, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning at her home.
Born in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Roy "Sparky" and Maude Hall Adams. She worked for Clorox Company and in the housekeeping department at Geisinger, Danville before her retirement.
Nancy was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Ashland. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 541, Catawissa and also served as a bartender for many years.
She enjoyed crocheting and was very generous with the items that she made for many people. She was a great person, who was loved by all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Doraski.
Nancy is survived by her loving companion, James J. Cuff, Ashland; her son Mike Van Cleave, Roseburg, OR; her brother Edward E. Adams, Muncy; her sister Alice Luce, Frewsburg, NY; her two grandsons: Steven and Fred Van Cleave; several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland with Rev. Paul Rothermel, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery in Elysburg. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from Noon until the time of mass.
