Nancy Donchak

Nancy Donchak, 81, former Frackville resident, died peacefully on Saturday, May 24th, at Country Gardens Nursing Home, in Swansea, MA, with her family at her side.

Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna ( Prock ) Mykolayko.

She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.

She was a 1953 graduate of the former Ashland Hospital School of Nursing and enjoyed using her nursing skills to care for others. An avid reader she enjoyed spending countless hours at the library. While living in Frackville she was active in her church and enjoyed making pyrohy for the church fundraisers. She also had many dogs over the years that she loved and cherished.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Donchak, her brother, Stephen Mykolayko and her sisters; Anna Wilcosky and Mary Tenaglia.

Nancy is survived by her son Nicholas Donchak, her daughter Deborah Ann Miles, her granddaughter Monica Leanne Boisselle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Parastas service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev Roman Pitula, pastor of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends my call from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.
