Miriam "Mim" Greblick, 87, of Frackville passed away peacefully Sunday, October 25th at Shenandoah Senior Living Community surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 7, 1939, in Ashland, Pennsylvania, Mim was a devoted, lifelong resident of Frackville and a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Frackville. She was the daughter of the late Ruth (Hinkel) and Robert Buchspics and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence “Larry” Greblick, on March 1, 2026.
Miriam married the love of her life, Larry, on March 3, 1962. Together, they built a life centered on family, community, and unconditional devotion to each other.
A proud 1957 graduate of Frackville High School, Mim was a familiar and warm face throughout her community. Over the years, she worked at Home Savings & Loan, Metropolitan Mirror & Glass Company, E A Quirin Machine Shop, and CR’s Convenience Store. Alongside her husband, she was also the co-owner of Larry’s Sport Shop on Lehigh Avenue, which they successfully owned and operated for nearly six decades starting in 1963. Mim remained hard at work in her community until her health began to decline ten years ago.
Mim’s love for her community was especially evident in her unwavering support of local youth and sports. She found immense joy in attending and volunteering at North Schuylkill High School athletic events. A dedicated member of the NS Football Halftime Club for many years—long after her own children had participated—she was always in the stands with Larry and her dear friends, proudly cheering on the North Schuylkill Spartans.
Above all else, family was the heart of Mim’s life. She is survived by her four children: Michelle Chandler and her husband Douglas of Huntington, VT; Gary Greblick and his wife Stacy of Orwigsburg; Brian Greblick and his wife Christine of Lavelle; and Matthew Greblick of Huntington, VT.
She was the proud grandmother of seven: Jay Chandler, Jordynn Brisbin, Courtney Noecker, Trevor Greblick, Sarah Greblick, Luke Greblick, and Olivia Greblick; and a cherished great-grandmother to Ivy Brisbin.
Mim is also survived by her brother, Lewis Buchspics and his wife Grace; her sister, Dorothy Phillips and her husband James; her sister-in-law, Joanne Semanchick and her husband Gene; as well as many loving nieces, a great-niece, extended family members, and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 501 West Washington Street, Frackville until the time of service at 12:00 PM. Graveside services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Miriam’s honor to the South End Field & Stream Association, 102 Morea Road, Frackville, PA 17931.
