Michael A. Gaverick

Michael A. Gaverick , 59, Frackville passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 26th.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Jeanette Gaverick Semasek of Frackville and the late John Gaverick.

Gav was employed as the automotive manager at the former Sears and had a great passion for the automotive industry. He had a 1955 Canary Yellow Chevy that was one of his greatest joys in life especially when he would be cruising to "Low Rider."

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, John Gaverick, Ashland; his two sisters: Diane Pavalko and Lori Sugulia, both of Frackville; he is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at 12 noon from St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St. Ann's Church) with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends are invited to his viewing at the church on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will follow mass at Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Frackville.
