Melvin "Slick" Mastishin

Melvin "Slick" Mastishin, 91, lifelong Frackville resident, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 9 ^th surrounded by his loving family.

Melvin was a United States Army Veteran and served in the 82 ^nd Airborne as a Master Jumper where he also attained the rank as Sergeant 1 ^st Class.

Melvin was the last of his immediate family and was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.

Melvin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor A. Bushkie Mastishin; his three children: Melanie and her husband Eddie Boxter; Merri Lynn and her husband Benny Craig; Melvin W. and his wife Denise Mastishin; three grandchildren: Benjamin, Melvin John and Audrey; also by numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
