Mathilda "Theresa" Seasock

Mathilda "Theresa" Seasock , 72, Frackville, passed away peacefully Saturday evening at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Theodosia "Danshock" Mistishen. She had been employed as a CNA for Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 25 years until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, St. Clair.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Harold, John, and Michael Mistishen and a sister Mary Shimkus.

Mathilda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Russell M. Seasock, 4 sons: John, Frackville; Michael and his wife Erika, Pottsville; Russell and his wife Laura, Florence, SC; and Greg Seasock of Frackville. 2 daughters: Nikki, wife of Michael Zubowicz, Ringtown and Janine Seasock of Mechanicsburg. She is survived by 5 grandchildren: Corey, J.R., Jordann, Kyle, and Amber Seasock. Mathilda is also survived by her loyal companion, Chi-Chi.

Funeral service will be held at 9:15 on Wednesday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Parastas service will be at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, St. Clair, with Msgr. Myron Grabowsky, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Cemetery, St. Clair. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
