Mary E. Zukas

Mary E. Zukas , 86, of Shenandoah, a guest of Trinity Mission of Shenandoah Heights, passed away Saturday night at Trinity Mission.

Born in Maizeville she was a daughter of the late Bryan and Blanche " Conchis " Balavage. She had worked in the garment industry, in Shenandoah , for several years.

She was a devout member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church and the Glovers Hill Association, both of Shenandoah.

She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Zukas in 2009 and a brother Walter Balavage.

Mary is survived by her two sons; John F. Zukas, Shenandoah and Frank and his wife Nonie Zukas, Ashland, her daughter Linda and her husband Alan Dalla Palu, Clinton, NJ, a brother, Al Balavage, Va and a sister Alyce Stocovaz, New Hope, Pa, also by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of remembrances' or flowers, contributions can be made, in Mary's name, to the Frackville Free Public Library, 59 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, Pa 17931.
