Mary A. Tenaglia
Mary A. Tenaglia , Frackville, 75, died peacefully Sunday morning at her residence with her family by her side.
Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna ( Prach ) Mykolayko.
She was a devout member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, where she was an active volunteer in the church especially in the pyrohy and halupkie making, which she was known for.
Mary was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed watching her favorite player Derek Jeter.
She was preceded in death by a brother Steven Mykolayko and a sister Anna Wilcosky.
Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years James " Jim " Tenaglia, her three sons; Jim and his wife Dorena, Halifax, Tony and his wife Carolyn, Frackville and Michael and his wife Lisa, Coplay, her daughter Terri and her husband Tom Smith, Frackville, a sister Nancy Donchak, MA, her 11grandchildren; Taryn and Aaron Tenaglia, Matthew, Melissa, Tony Philip and Allison Tenaglia, Tommy Smith, Alicia Smith, Cassy Doherty and Michael Tenaglia, 4 great-grandchildren; Greg, Chase Collin and Alyssa Smith, also by nieces and nephews.
Panakhyda service will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, followed by funeral service at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church with Rev. Roman Pitula, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
