Mary L. Reese, 91, Shenandoah, passed away unexpectedly Monday, shortly after arrival, at Lehigh Valley Health- Schuylkill, South Jackson St. Pottsville.

Born in Shenandoah she was a daughter of the late Charles and Amelia ( Reisig ) Ludes. She had been employed as a hemmer in the local garment industry having last worked at Carie Fashions, until her retirement.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Cornelius F. " Connie " Reese in 1998, her son Neil P. Reese, two sisters; Verna Ludes and Catherine Zimmerman, three brothers; Albert, John and Paul Ludes.

Mary is survived by her daughter Tricia R, and her husband Wayne Jordan, Center Valley, grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Jennifer Jordan, Alicia and her husband James Langmayer and Karalyn and her husband Norman Eifler, great grandchildren; Ava and Ariana Jordan and Amelia and Alexa Langmayer, her sister Christine Domson, Pottsville and her sister-in-law Lorraine Matusik, Hughesville also by nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Divine Mercy Church, Shenandoah, with Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until time of mass.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Mary's name, to the Memorial Fund of Divine Mercy Parish, 108 W. Cherry Street, Shenandoah, PA 17976
