Mary A. Morris

Mary A. Morris , a guest at Shenandoah Senior Living Community, formerly of W. Oak Street, Shenandoah, died Wednesday morning at the center.

Born in Yonkers, NY she was a daughter of the late Edward and Diela " Hanney " Rattigan.

She was a member of Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Shenandoah and a member of the sodality of the church. Mary served on numerous church committees throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas W. in 2009, her son Thomas E in 1995 and her brother Edward Rattigan in 1939.

Mary is survived by two daughters; Mary Ellen Morris, Blue Bell, PA and Kathleen and her husband Richard Szczerbowicz, Shenandoah Heights, five grandchildren; Kathleen Beaulieu, Rick Szczerbowicz, Thomas, Jeremiah and Cody Morris, three great-grand-daughters; Adeliene , Kandie and Felicity, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Monday from the Walukiewicz-Oravitz-Fell Funeral Home, Shenandaoh. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in Annunciation church, Shenandoah, with Msgr. Ronald Bocian, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Friends may call at the funeral home in Shenandoah, Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m..
