Mary E. Miller

Mary E. Miller , 72, Ashland, passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East, Pottsville with her family at her side.

Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late William and Madalin Schmidt Roche. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Albert T. Miller in 2004; her son Michael Miller in 2010 and her two brothers: William Roche and Gerald Roche.

She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland.

Mary is survived by her daughter Michelle and her husband Michael Walnock, Ashland; her grandchildren: Grace Walnock, Alison Miller, Ryan and Benjamin Maurer; step-granddaughter, Haylee Walnock; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Roche Hand, Auburn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland with Rev. Paul Rothermel, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
