Mary Lovell

Mary Lovell , formerly of Frackville and Allentown, died Tuesday , shortly after arrival, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Elias and Mary "Gergal " Chuma. She had been employed by the Department of Motor Vehicles, Harrisburg, for several years.

She was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville and former member of the church choir. She was a graduate of the former Frackville High School and attended the Thompson Institute in Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Lovell in 1987, a son Jeffery Lovell , sub deacon "Bartholomew" of the Orthodox church, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

Mary is survived by her daughter Dr. Kathleen wife of F. Roger Bratby, Center Moriches, NY, a grandson Eric Bratby, two sisters; Olga Chuma and Helen Yust both of Frackville, her daughter-in-law Michele Lovel and sister-in-law Lorraine Chuma also by nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews also by cousins.

Burial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville with Rev. James Jadick, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service. " May her memory be eternal ".
