Mary M. Henning

Mary M. Henning , 73, Girardville, passed away peacefully on Thursday surrounded by her family at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East, Pottsville.

Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Snyder Moran. Mary was employed as a nurse's aide at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville until her retirement.

Mary was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church, Girardville, worship site of St. Charles Borromeo Parish.

Mary was an avid animal lover and enjoyed the company of her English Bulldogs and cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Moran and her sister Thomasine Moran.

Mary is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald J. Henning, Girardville; her son Ron and his wife Mary Ann Henning, Ashland; her sister Julia Galdun, Sugarloaf, NY; her two grandchildren: Nicole and Ryan Henning, who gave her the nickname of "Mernie."

Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions be made, in Mary's name, to the Hillside SPCA at P.O. Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901
