Mary E. Craney

Mary E. Craney , 92, Frackville, died peacefully Monday morning at Broad Mountain Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Buck Run she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret ( Casey ) Craney. She had been employed by her brother-in-law, Dr. Charles Miller, in Frackville until her retirement.

She attended Ashland schools and was a graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy. Mary was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. A unique character, she always would make you smile and shake your head. Her knowing chuckle will accompany the memory of her.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; James and John Craney, two sisters; Margaret Craney and Catherine M. Miller and her niece Kathy Miller Vaughn.

Mary is survived by nieces; Joey, wife of Ed Kalbach and Trish, wife of David Smith, also by great-nieces and nephews.

At Mary's request, services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers , Mary would have preferred you to buy yourself something nice or something for your grandchildren. " Life is short, so enjoy yourself ".
