Martha A. Cuff

Martha A. " Marti " Cuff , 64, Ashland, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at her residence.

Born in Hazleton she was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia " Zapatosky " Kokinda. She had been employed as a legislative assistant for the PA House of Representatives until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.

She was a graduate of the former Immaculate Heart Academy, Fountain Springs, McCann's School of Business and Penn State University where she received her degree as a paralegal. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. James # 1029.

Marti enjoyed spending time with her family on vacations including Disney World and Ocean City, MD. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and her dog Cassie.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her niece Kristin Cuff

She is survived by her husband of 43 years Thomas J. Cuff, her son Thomas and his wife Rachel, Reading, her daughter Catherine and her husband Dale Stanakis, Ashland, her grandsons Evan and Collin Stanakis, Ashland, a brother Michael and his wife Carol Kokinda, Pasadena, MD and a nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville with Rev. Robert Finlan, pastor as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 until time of mass.
