Mark S. Dyszel

Mark S. Dyszel , 52, Girardville, passed away suddenly on Thursday evening.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Stephen and Roseann Lucas Dyszel. Mark had been employed as an accountant and had last worked for Tri-State Envelope, Ashland.

Mark was a 1985 graduate of the former Cardinal Brennan High School, Fountain Springs and later went on to receive a degree in accounting from McCann School of Business, Mahanoy City in 1989.

Mark had a great love of sports and was a passionate fan of the Miami Dolphins, Notre Dame and the Philadelphia Phillies. He played softball in the William Penn slow pitch league and coached his three girls during their time with CYO Basketball, Girardville Basketball Association, Cardinal Brennan Softball and Basketball, North Schuylkill Softball and traveling AAU Basketball.

Mark was a member of the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church, American Legion Post 309 and the Knights of Columbus, all of Girardville.

He is survived by his former wife and lifelong friend Catherine Anne Dando Dyszel, Girardville; his three loving daughters: Brionne Dyszel, Frackville, Kelsey Dyszel, Girardville and Devan Dyszel, Girardville; his brother, Steve Dyszel, Frackville; his sister Debbie and her husband Dan Shuey, Girardville; his grandson and best bud, Cassius; his nephew, Jake Shuey; his nieces: Jillian, Jenna and Haylee Dyszel; his great-nephew, Nolan.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 17 ^th at 7 p.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville with Rev. Zachary Navit officiating. Friends are invited to a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to defray funeral costs to his daughter Brionne Dyszel at 128 W. Frack Street Frackville, PA 17931.
