Mark E. Burch

Mark E. Burch, 49 S. Balliet Street, Frackville, died Tuesday evening at his residence.

Born in E. Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Mark and Ida " Ruth " Burch. He had been employed as a truck driver for WW Transport until his retirement in 2006.

Mark had served in the US Army from 1961 to 1965. He was a life member of the American Legion and member of Eagles Arie # 1106 in Stroudsburg.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Cynthia " Unser " in 1998.

He is survived by his wife the former Arlene " Franks " Burch, three step-children; Stephen and his wife Robin Proctor, Harleysville, Dawn and her husband Edwin Morris, Souderton and Karen and her husband Barry Stumpp, Blakeslee, a brother Richard Burch, San Diego, CA, two sisters Edna Jackson and Carolyn Mursch, both of Minnesota, five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg. Contributions would be appreciated and may be mailed to Arlene Burch, 49 S. Balliet St., Frackville, 17931
