Marianne then pursued a different career path earning an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Pennsylvania State University – Hazleton. She works a PTA, notably as a program director, for rehab care at Shenandoah Manor until July of 2012. She then worked as a staff PTA for Guardian Rehab at the Weatherwood Skilled Nursing Facility, in Weatherly until the time of her death.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association and Shenandoah Heights Fire Co.

Marianne was a self described sports junkie and was a well known diehard fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions, New York Yankees and her New York GMEN/Giants. Marianne loved to travel with Marty but always found an excuse to visit her "home away from home" Key West, Fl.
Marianne is survived by her husband Martin and were seldom seen apart. They were a couple since 1983 and married September 28, 1991. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year. Also survived by a brother David and his wife Nancy Becker, Bloomsburg; a sister Jane Becker, Bradenton, FL; niece Gretchen Becker, Palmerton and nephew Jonathan Becker, Bradenton, FL; daughter Rachelle Cuff, Shenandoah and her fiancé Joseph Alashefski and son Christopher Cuff and his wife Janelle, Shenandoah; 3 grandchildren: Christopher and Ella Cuff and Nicholas Ryan.

Marianne also dearly loved all of her pet family including Jumbo, Frisky, Sparky, Guinness, Chelsie and survived by beloved Shannon and Casey.
