Louis T. Hawranick

Louis T. Hawranick , 88, a guest at ManorCare, died peacefully Thursday at Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson St., Pottsville

Born in Frackville he was a son of the late Theodore and Magdalene "Neverosky" Hawranick. He had been employed as a Travel advisor for Air Travel, NYC, NY.

He was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville. He was a 1942 graduate of the former Butler Twp. High School and served in the Army during WW II in the European Theater of Operations.

He was preceded in death by five brothers; Theodore, Joseph, Michael, John and Alex Hawranick and six sisters: Mary Gressen, Anna Bervinchak, Eva Sichuk, Kathryn Benyo, Margaret Tatusko and Helen Hawranick also by nieces and nephews.

He is survived by a son Stephan, NY , his sister Vera wife of Pat Kleman, Frackville and by several nieces and nephews.

Burial service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in Holy Ascension Orthodox Church with Rev. James Jadick, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, on Monday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions, in Louis name, be made to the Memorial Fund of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, 209 S. Lehigh Ave. Frackville, PA 17931
