Louanne Olson

Louanne Olson , 55, Girardville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21 ^st at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville after her courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of Nancy Lenig Olson, Girardville and her late husband Bernard Olson.

Louanne was very involved in many organizations throughout Girardville including the Girardville Ambulance Association, the Girard Hose Company, the Girardville Basketball Association and the Little League.

In addition to her mother Nancy, she is survived by her son Christopher L. Olson and his husband Jared Gibbons, Hawley; her brothers: Mark Olson and his wife Gretchen, West Chester; Trae Olson, Girardville; nieces: Paige, Reese and Quinn; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 28 ^th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Louanne's name to the Girardville Basketball Association in care of Paul Kowalick at 250 N. Second Street Girardville, PA 17935 or to For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation at 620 W. Germantown Pike Ste. 250 Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
