Linda M. Peterson
Linda Marie " Palulis " Peterson, 63 , Edison, NJ, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning at Haven Hospice of J F K Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of Eleanor E. McClaren Palulis, Edison, NJ and the late Edward J. Palulis who died in 1994.
Linda was employed as a nurses aid at the N.J. Veterans Home in Menlo Park for 11 years until she retired. She was a consultant with the Women Against Domestic Violence for the Edison police department and a volunteer for patients rights at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother Edward R. Palulis in 1998.
Surviving with her mother are two sons; Michael D. , Ft. Meyers FL and Stephen D. Sayreville, NJ, her long time companion Ray Coopey, Edison, five grandchildren; Erik, Ridge, Chayden, Seth and Ryan, also by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Annunciation B.V.M. Church, Frackville, with Rev. J. Michael Beers, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. with scripture service at 6:30.
