Leroy W. Fegley

Leroy W. Fegley , a guest at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehab Center, Shenandoah Heights, died peacefully Tuesday morning at the center.

Born in Rush Twp. he was a son of the late Millard and Kathleen " Schappel " Fegley. He had been employed as an accountant for Cooper Industries, Palmer Twp, until his retirement.

He was a US Army veteran of WWII having served in the European Theater of Operations.

He was a graduate of Muhlenburg College where he received a B A degree in accounting. He was a member of Lehigh Valley Masonic Lodge and a member of the Association of Cost Accountants. Leroy was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved visiting Promiseland Lake.

He was preceded in death by a brother Glen Fegley.

Leroy is survived by his wife, the former Doris " Bubeck " Fegley, his son Roy and his wife Ruth, Wickenburg AZ, his daughter Cathy and her husband Daune Lambert, Pen Argyl, a brother, Lewis and his wife Adell Fegley, New Ringold, three sisters; Ginny (Duke) Hallacher, Catherine ( Donny ) Shade, both of Reading and Joan ( Charlie ) Houser, Hometown, his grandson Brian Lambert, Philadelphia, a sister-in-law Rebecca Fegley, Barnesville, several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
