Leonard S. Whyne , 57, husband of Terri Whyne, 21 Malones Road Ashland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening due to complications from esophageal cancer.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late William and Eileen June (Walizer) Whyne. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Corp of Engineers.

Len was preceded in death by his daughter Victoria Lynn and a brother Michael Whyne.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Terri L. (Touchinsky) Whyne, Ashland; his 3 sons: Eric and his wife Lindsay Whyne, Sterling, VA, William and his wife Jennifer Whyne, Gordon and John Whyne, Ashland and his companion Kristen; his brother, John and his wife Sharon Whyne, Ashland; his sister Charlene and her husband Larry Levy, Frackville; his cousin Jackie and her husband George Bower, Amherst, NH; his 11 grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
