Lenore M. Slotterback

Lenore M. Slotterback , 97, of Lavelle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29th at the home of her daughter Helen.

She was a daughter of the late John and Mary F. Siciliano DeAngelo.

She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland. She worked in the dietary and laundry department before retiring from the former Ashland State General Hospital. Lenore took pride in her family and was an excellent cook and homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy D. Slotterback in 1999; her eight brothers: Joseph, Peter, George, Frank, Philip, James, Anthony, and Louis DeAngelo; her four sisters: Anna Conniff, Madeline Buzzeli, Victoria Mancuso and Mary DePinto.

Lenore is survived by her 3 daughters: Barbara Malewski; Jane Walter and her husband Gary; Helen O'Neill and her companion Chris; her grandchildren: Luke Chiaretti (Jessica); Rachel Walter; Daniel Walter (Samantha); Paige Falco (Nick); her 5 great-grandchildren: Zoey, Ella, Bobby, Abbie, Sylvia and one due to arrive in December; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 2nd at 10 a.m. from St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Thursday morning at the church from 8 am until the time of mass. Interment will follow mass at the Citizen's Cemetery, Lavelle.
