Kevin M. Powell

Kevin M. Powell , 52, Frackville passed away unexpectedly Saturday at his home.

Born in the former Ashland State Hospital, he was a son of Gale Oakum Powell of Girardville and her late husband John J. Powell Sr.

Kevin worked in maintenance and used his talents to fix anything. He was also an avid New York Jets Fan.

He was preceded in death by his father John and his 3 brothers: John J. Powell Jr., Robert Powell and Joseph R. Powell.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion Diane Guinther, Frackville; his sister Carol and her husband Robert Hollenbach; his two sons: Keith and Hunter Powell; a daughter Kristyn Westcott; 2 grand-daughters, Charlotte and Lila and several nieces and nephews.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
