Judith M. Kaplafka

Judith M. Kaplafka , 71, of Lost Creek passed away peacefully Saturday at Schuylkill Manor, Pottsville.

Born in Ashland she was a daughter of the late Andrew P. and Marie Coyle Kaplafka.

She had been employed as a meat cutter at the former Anthony's Supermarket and later as the district manager for the former Fashion Bug.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a 1970 graduate of North Schuylkill High School.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her companion Brian Flannigan.

Judith is survived by her brother Ronald Kaplafka, FL, her sisters; Janice Anthony and Andrea Eye both of Frackville and by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31st at St Ann's Catholic Church, Frackville with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor , as the celebrant. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 until time of mass. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
