Joyce F. Hereshko

Joyce Flannery Hereshko , 84, Mahanoy Plane, passed away peacefully Friday at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Mahanoy Plane, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Nora Malloy Flannery. She had been employed as waitress at the former Mansion Hotel and later at the Dutch Kitchen for over 30 years until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville. Joyce was a graduate of Gilberton High School and was an avid Notre Dame football fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Hereshko, brothers; Thomas "Mahat" and Joseph "Flip" Flannery and her sister Jean Buletza.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Karyn Andrea wife of Stephen Mazur, Frackville, grandchildren; Derek (Anna) Flail, Stephen and Alexander Mazur, sister-in-law Terry Mills, brother-in-law Harry Hereshko and by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan.16 ^th from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 16 ^th from 5 until the time of service. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA
