Joshua M. " Josh " Paulonis
, 38, Butler Twp., Frackville, died unexpectedly Monday at his home.
Born in Fountain Springs he was a son of Joseph M. and Madelyn " Midge " Tatusko Paulonis, Butler Twp.. He had been employed by JPS Construction, Philadelphia, and was the owner/operator of Villain Sound Reinforcement, Frackville.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a 1993 graduate of North Schuylkill Jr/Sr High School, Fountain Springs and the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in electronics. Josh held a great love for music throughout his life and had been a member of the band " Cheap Thrills". He loved to work in the outdoors and to hang out with his many friends. He was well known for his caring nature and how he always put everyone else's needs before his own.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Beatrice Paulonis and Nicholas and Margaret " Hawranick " Tatusko .
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Jason M. Paulonis, Baltimore, MD and his sister Melissa Paulonis, Minersville, nieces and nephews: Ethan, Gavin, Alexandra, Nikolai and Natalie Greiner, Minersville, also by uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at noon from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Adam Sedar, officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Josh's name, be made to Anthracite Regional Center for Independent Living, 8 W Broad St Hazleton, PA 18201
