Joseph G. Rubright

Joseph G. Rubright , 59, Girardville, formerly of Frackville, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Gerard and Nelda Shadel Rubright. Joe worked as a coal hauler all of his life and was last employed by Sueden Trucking, Girardville.

Joe was a member of the Goodwill Hose Co. #1, Frackville and the Schuylkill Historical Fire Society, Shenandoah.

Joe is survived by his wife of 29 years, Amy Major Rubright, Girardville; his son Adam Rubright, Girardville; his two sisters: Donna and her husband Stephen Schnoke, Schuylkill Haven and Linda Rieger of Mohnton; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Joe on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made, in Joe's name, to either the Schuylkill Historical Fire Society at 105 S. Jardin Street Shenandoah, PA 17976 or to the Goodwill Hose Co. #1 at 225 S. Balliet Street, Frackville, PA 17931.
