Joseph J. Piaskowski

Joseph J. Piaskowski, 87, of Frackville, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Steiner) Piaskowski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerome Piaskowski.

Joe is survived by his brother, Stephen Piaskowski and his wife, Sharon; his sisters, Anne Marie Davidock and her husband, Tom, and Helene Roland and her husband, Patrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joe graduated from the former Frackville High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1961 until 1963. Following his military service, he was employed by PennDOT for many years until his retirement.

Joe enjoyed all sports and was an especially devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoyed traveling and never passed up the opportunity to indulge in a favorite sweet treat. Joe will be remembered for his quiet nature, his love of sports, and the enjoyment he found in life's simple pleasures.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
